A glimmer of peace progress appeared in the Middle East this week, as the Israeli embassy reopened in Cairo for the first time since diplomats and their families left in 2011, after violent protests arose over the deaths of five Egyptian policemen in Sinai. Israel says the countries are working together for stability and prosperity.
